Peter C. “Pete” Melech, Jr. – A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, died Sunday, April 24, 2011. Pete was an avid outdoorsman. Pete loved the water, fishing and hunting with his son, the joy of his life. He was the owner of Boatmart of Mobile and designed and built the Delta Craft. A loving husband, father and friend to many, he will be greatly missed. Pete was preceded in death by his father, Peter C. Melech, Sr. Survivors include his wife, Patricia “Charlie” Melech; his son and fishing partner, Dakota Melech; his mother; two sisters; one step-son; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
