Pierre Lai, 93, of Mobile, AL, passed away June 5, 2024 surrounded by his loving wife and family. Native of Marseille, France; Pierre and Carmen left France March of 1956 and settled in Mobile, AL where he raised his family and pursued his career as a Craftsman. Pierre retired after many dedicated years in his field, specializing in cabinetry.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Carmen Allochis Lai; daughters, Cynthia Lai (William, Jr.) Harbour and Diane Lai (Wade Dean); four grandchildren, William "Tommy" Harbour III (Kelli Byers), Carmen Harbour (Kyle) Taylor, Jon Harbour and Eric Cleveland (Brandi DePineuil). One great grandson Lucian DePineuil and one great granddaughter Selene Taylor.
And also family in France.
A funeral service will be held Monday, June 10, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home – 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. He will be laid to rest at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
