A little girl,
left all broken.
So many words,
left unspoken.

A beautiful flower,
in a pot.
He loves me,
he loves me not.

All her trust,
totally shattered.
Her little life,
did it even matter?

She looked for you,
in stranger's faces.
You were no where to be found,
there were no traces.

She needed you,
for her protection.
But what she found,
was the wrong affection.

No more a little girl,
she finally grew.
Still she patiently waited,
for the dad she once knew.

Time kept marching,
and life kept livin'...
Then one day you were gone,
but all was forgiven.

You see, that wilted flower,
had grown into a strong tree.
That wilted flower,
was no longer me.

I've always forgiven you.
I always will.
Cause in my heart,
time stands still.

Come and whisper that you love me,
in my dreams.
Come and meet me in that place,
where nothing is as it seems.

I have never stopped loving you. I never will. Love, your jenny. ❤️
