

Randall Ira Kogon, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts but a life-long resident of Mobile, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at the age of 64. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Lila Kogon. Randy is survived by his loving wife, Julie Bloess Kogon, his daughter Jessica (Brenden) Weishaar, son Joseph Julius Kogon, his brother Larry David Kogon and many nieces and nephews. Randy graduated from Murphy High School and the University of Alabama. He worked in the garment manufacturing business, first with his father for many years, and most recently with Harper Industries. Randy will be remembered fondly as a dedicated husband and father. Randy loved many things, including golf, trains, Dog River, football, jet skiing, but not fishing. He had many good friends that will miss him greatly. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Springhill Avenue Temple with services immediately following at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
