In 1974 when I started working for Weyerhaeuser at their Southern Forestry Research Center in Hot Springs, AR I first met Randy Nalley. We both worked for Dr. Jack Walstad. Randy was always laid back and did not let much ruffles his feathers. I never saw his temper show except one Friday afternoon. We were running late, tried a short cut and got lost. We both realized that we were not going to make to back to Hot Springs by 5:00. Randy threw his plug of Days Work on the truck floor-board so hard that it bounced off the roof. I think Randy had a hot date waiting ....he was mad. I'm going to miss him. He was a good friend and buddy.
