Richard Christian "Chris" Miller

Richard Christian “Chris” Miller, age 42, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Richard F. and Edna Lois Miller and Calvin C. and Helen B. Shearer. Chris was employed with Bridgetree, Inc. as a Director of Development. He was a 1992 graduate of McGill-Toolen High School where he served as captain of his football team. He was also a graduate of Millsaps College, University of Alabama and received his Masters Degree at Auburn University. At Millsaps he was a member of the football team where he was named Team Captain, Player of the Year and was a member of the All-Conference Team. Chris was training for the Grand Man Triatholon and was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed participating and watching sports. His friends and family will remember his gentle, humble spirit. Chris is survived by his parents, James and Helen Miller, sister, Brooks Faggard and her husband Jeff. He is also survived by his nephew and nieces, Jack, Abby, Katie Faggard, many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 5, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home.
