Robert Edward “Bobby” Bender, 45, of Mobile entered into rest Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at his home. Graveside funeral services will be Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Brook Cedron Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Mobile. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Anglican Church. Fr. Jon Holland will officiate.
Mr. Bender was a member of the George U. Potter Masonic Lodge #912, Order of the Eastern Star Dave Langham Chapter #536, Christ Anglican Church, and the Mobile Amateur Radio Club. He was preceded in death by his father, William Raymond Bender, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Laurie Bender of Mobile, mother, Belle Bender of Mobile, brother, Bill (Sandra) Bender of Cullman, step-son, Jaime Magnon of Mobile, and nephew, Jeffrey Skinner of Cullman.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Christ Anglican Church, George U. Potter Lodge, or the Order of the Eastern Star.
