Robert Earl Fletcher

Mr. Fletcher was a 1957 graduate of Murphy High School. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force for four years, and retired after 33 years of service from CSX Railroad. He attended Pathway Ministries.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Carole Ann Pylate Fletcher; three daughters, Robin (Richard) Holley, Susan (Charles) Mott and Lea Ann (Benjamin) Hansert; four grandchildren, Blair Elaine Holley, Emily Ann Holley, Jonathan Fletcher Hansert, and Hannah Elizabeth Mott; four sisters, Deborah Simison, Alice Smith, Velna Cleghorn, and Evelyn Harris; one brother, Donald Fletcher; his special friend and physician, Dr. Gerry Phillips; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
