

Robert Clark Lewis, age 73, passed away on January 7, 2025. Robert was born August 31, 1952, in Sikeston, Missouri, to James Clark Lewis and Willie Mae Lewis Maltby. Robert spent his early childhood growing up in the Florence, Mississippi area. Later, the family relocated to Jackson County, Mississippi. He was a 1970 graduate of East Central High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J. C. Lewis and Willie Mae Maltby, brother Shelton Lewis, sister Kathy Lewis, sister Sandra (Tommy) Freeman, and brother and sister-in-law Jimmy and Geraldine Lewis. He is survived by his son, Robert Bradley (Brad) (Tabitha) Lewis, son Rodney Clark (Jennifer) Lewis, and their mother, Susie White Zielinski, brother Richard (Margie) Lewis, brother Steve (Deanna) Lewis, granddaughters Kaylynn-Marie Sirney, Londyn Lewis, and grandsons Jackson Lewis and Bryson Lewis, along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Robert is also survived by a special friend, Donnie Anglin.
Robert spent over 40 years in the HVAC industry. He worked in virtually every aspect of the business, from mechanical installation to management, overseeing residential and commercial jobs in the Jackson, Mississippi area. He ended his career across coastal Mississippi and Alabama in sales where he spent many years securing jobs and making profitable connections between customers and the companies he represented.
As a young man, Robert was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying many years at their hunting camps with his family and friends. He was most proud of the many accomplishments of his two sons, Brad and Rodney. He especially took immense pride in their distinguished service as combat veterans of the United States Army and United States
Air Force, which was among his greatest joys. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
