He was employed for 30 years at the Alabama State Port Authority as a millwright. Russ enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. You could always count on Russ to have a handkerchief, pocketknife, ChapStick and candy for the grands in his pockets. His presence here on earth will be sorely missed! A celebration of his life will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations be made in his honor to the Wounded Warriors Project or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
