Ruth Henrietta Fincher Brantley

Mrs. Ruth Henrietta Fincher Brantley, a native of Whistler, AL, formerly of Orange Beach, AL, and a long-time resident of Mobile, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at the age of 92, born March 18, 1920.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Enoch Lane Brantley; her parents, Louis Austin and Kittie Lawshe Fincher; and sisters, Annie Lee and Evelyn Lenore.

Mrs. Brantley was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Brantley Lacey of Mobile and Anita Brantley Strider of Hoover, AL; one granddaughter, Kimberly Lacey (Todd) Perkins; and great-grandchildren, Savannah Clarise Perkins and Christian Lane Perkins, all of Mobile. Mrs. Brantley retired from Allstate Insurance Company in 1985.

Visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, April 30, 2012 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
