

Sandra Bell, a native of St. Louis, MO and a long time resident of Mobile, passed away on August 31, 2016 at the age of 66. She was a Girl Scout growing up; she was the 2005 Queen of the KOM; she also worked for many years at Montrose Bay Health & Rehab. Sandy had a passion for shoes as well as Auburn football. She was preceded in death by her father, James Thompson; and her in-laws, Ila and Lister Bell. Sandy is survived by her husband of 37 years, Rodney Bell; children, Rick Faris, Keith (Kristy) Bell, Wayne (Katherine) Oldfield, and Jennifer (Christopher) Miller; grandchildren, Ravyn and Taryn Faris, Bryleigh and “lil” Keith Bell, Lexie Wilson, Jacob Miller, Caleb Mathews, Chris Oldfield and Mike Reed; one great-granddaughter, AJ Oldfield; mother, Millie Thompson; siblings, Rita Thompson, Ray (Joanne) Thompson and Larry (Docia) Thompson; long time family friend, Teresa Strickland-Faris; many nieces, nephews and friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Christian Life Church. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 10 a.m. from Christian Life Church. Interment to follow at Spring Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to the church at www.clcmobile.churchcenteronline.com/giving.
