Sarah Eliza Snow

Mrs. Sarah H. “Sally” Snow, born on September 25, 1924 was a lifetime resident of the Mobile area. She slipped away from us on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Francis M. Snow. Mrs. Snow was a lady who loved family. Her special joy were her “Babies”, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to read, especially mysteries and was an avid crossword fan. Miss Sally and her husband “Mutt” lived on the river for many years and were longtime square dancers. They helped teach many dancers in the Mobile area. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by four children, Beth (Jimmy) Hopper, Nancy (David) Arnett, David (Carol) Snow, Jimmy (Sandy) Snow; sisters, Myrtle Baker, Lodica Everett; eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 12 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
