Sharon L. Bowman, a native of Eight Mile, AL. and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL. passed on Sunday June 23, 2013. She was retired from the Mobile Office of Social Security where she worked for many years. She was preceded in death by her father, James Bowman and brother, Albert Bowman. Survivors include her mother, Doris Bowman; brother, Edward Bowman; four children: Leigh Smith, Jeff Mendyk, Bryan Mendyk and Grier Mendyk; grandchildren: Ian Jones, Morgan Mendyk, Kayla Mendyk and Sara Mendyk; and a nephew, Alex Bowman. A Celebration of her Life will be held at her home on Saturday, June 29, 2013 from 1 until 5 PM.
