Shay Ann Gautreaux, age 53, native of Mobile, AL, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Julia Schjott and Charles and Viona Sellers.

Shay enjoyed singing in the choir at church, gardening, bird watching, shopping, spending time at the beach and especially treasured time spent with her family. She was a doting grandmother who loved spoiling her grandchildren and spending every minute she could with them.

Shay is survived by her husband Chris Gautreaux and children, Amber Jacobson (Phillip), Taylor Fancher (Stephen), Alex Gautreaux and Sydney Gautreaux. Her parents, James and Shirley Schjott, brother Todd Schjott (Lisa) and grandchildren Aliza, Daniel, Olivia and Maddox also survive her.

Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile on Monday, October 16, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Oakleigh Chapel beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. Interment will be in Pine Crest West Cemetery.
