Sheila was born on March 30, 1954 to Clyde and Edna Hannah, Jr. She was from Eight Mile, Alabama, graduated from Mary G. Montgomery High School and went on to Twentieth Century Business College to achieve an Executive Secretarial Degree. She married the love of her life, Albert Charles Hensley, on July 20, 1973. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her Lord,
Sheila is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde A. Hannah, Jr., Edna M. Hannah and her sister Julie Hinton.
She is survived by her husband, Albert C. Hensley and children, Christopher A. Hensley (Tracy) and Jan M. Anderson (Bob). She is also survived by her brother, Clay Hannah, sister, Lisa K. Walker and her grandchildren, Tyler J. Hensley, Dylan C. Hensley (Allana), Halli M. Sears, Johnny A. Hensley and Joseph P. Hensley (Taliyah).
Pallbearers will be Tyler Hensley, Dylan Hensley, Johnny Hensley, Joseph Hensley, Danny Hensley and Matthew Hensley.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial donations to be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The family of Sheila wishes to extend our sincerest thanks and appreciation to all the Dr.'s and nurses at Thomas Hospital MICU and a special thank you to Crandall Langley, a great friend, for his love and support.
Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile on Thursday, June 25, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel beginning at 1:00. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Crest West Cemetery, 1599 Snow Rd. South, Mobile, Alabama.
