Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, John Randall Ariail; special friend David Sprott; her parents, willard and Drusilla Snyder; sister, Bernice Yancey and brother Harold Snyder
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Alvin) McCord; her son, John Michael (Kitda) Ariail; her grandsons, Aaron (Angelina) Ariail and Zachary Ariail; three great grandsons; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Those who knew Shirley will remember the steady devotion she showed to the people she loved and the simple joys she held close. She especially loved sports, faithfully cheering for the Atlanta Braves and the Auburn Tigers.
A Graveside Service will be held at Forrest Cemetery, 700 S 15th St, Gadsden, AL 35901, on June 27, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
