Shirley Gay Dunn Davis, 90, was born May 13, 1930 in Lasca, Alabama to the late Woody M. and Sadie Victoria Ray Dunn. She was called home April 28, 2021 in Mobile, Alabama.

Shirley was raised in Grove Hill, Alabama. She was a bookkeeper for many years and was a member of Tillman Corner First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband; James M. Davis, one son; Michael Craig Davis, one grandson; Jonathan Schenck, one brother; Kenneth Dunn and one sister; Willodene Jordan.

Left to cherish Shirley’s beautiful memories will be her daughter; Phyllis Davis Summers, one granddaughter; Chelsea Summers Giles and husband Ethan, three grandsons: James Summers, Josh Davis, Jeremy Davis, two sisters: Linda Reynolds and husband Don, Wanda Moore and husband Walter, along with many extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021, 11:00 AM at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama with Reverend Mark Griffin officiating.

The family will be receiving guests for visitation Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at Radney Funeral Home, Mobile, Alabama.

Graveside service will be Saturday, May 1, 2021, 2:00 PM on the grounds of Magnolia Lawn Cemetery, 20334 Highway 43, Grove Hill, Alabama.
