Shirley Glenn Thomas

Shirley Glenn Thomas, 77, was born in Iuka, MS, was a resident of Jackson, TN, and a long-time resident of Mobile, AL, currently residing in Loxley, AL. She departed this life on Sunday, November 4, 2012.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Ann Thomas, and brothers, Billy Glenn and Ralph Glenn. She was a member of First Baptist Spanish Fort. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and the study of God's Word. She was loving wife and mother, devoted to her home and family, Her life centered around raising her children and nurturing her family, desiring always to guide them in things of eternal value.

She is survived by her loving husband James H. Thomas of 56 years; 2 daughters; Linda Jane Thomas and LeAnn Thomas, one son; Harold (Nicole) Glenn Thomas; two sisters; Ruby Dean Marrison and Kathryn Dailey; and one brother, Earl Glenn.

She was dearly loved by her family and will be greatly missed by friends and family. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, At 11:00 a.m. from First Baptist Spanish Fort, 8353 Spanish Fort Blvd. (Hwy 31), Spanish Fort, AL. Visitation Will be Tuesday, November 6, 2012, From 5 - 8 p.m. at the church and one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
