Mrs. Shirley Cohn Tolpin – a longtime resident of Mobile, AL died Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Tolpin was a member of the Spring Hill Avenue Temple and active in Zonta. She volunteered as a listener on the “Crisis Hot Line” and was an avid Bridge player and Mahjong player. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Rose Cohn; one brother, Ray Cohn; and one sister, Marilyn Davidson. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, A. Richard Tolpin; two sons, Richard (Sheilah) Tolpin and Daniel (Darlin) Tolpin; two grandchildren, Adam (Caitlin) Tolpin and Kati (Mason) Green; and one great-grandchild, Emily Green. Graveside services and interment will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, May 17, 2013 in the Spring Hill Avenue Temple Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spring Hill Avenue Temple.
