I remember my Uncle Sid from when I was a child. My mother, June, would put a few of us on the train from New Orleans to Mobile during the summer. I was young and scared but my Uncle Sid always made some time for me. He talked to me and was gentle and kind. To me he was always a very special man. The world needs more men like him. I will greatly miss him as I am sure his family will too. I know he is in Heaven with his loved ones. Thank you Uncle Sid.

Uncle Sid was my mother, June's, brother. She spoke lovinly and with great admiration for her brother. I know that all the family who went before are with Uncle Sid, and all are safe in our Lord's gracious heart. Prayers go out to all of Uncle Sid's loved ones.
