Stephen Nicholas Zalopany

Stephen Nicholas Zalopany, age 23 passed away as a result of an automobile accident on Saturday, October 3, 2015. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John Lamar and DiAnne Williams Robison, Jr. and grandfather, Peter Edgar Zalopany. Stephen attended elementary school at St. Luke’s Episcopal School and was a 2010 graduate of UMS Wright. Stephen was a member of state championship teams in baseball and football while at UMS. He attended the University of Alabama where he was member of the Kappa Alfa Order and was attending the University of South Alabama, pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. Stephen was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was working in an internship with HOAR Construction, and attended South Coast Church. Stephen’s radiant smile and personality will be missed by all. Stephen is survived by his parents, Stephen Peter and Terry Robison Zalopany, sister, Kelley Zalopany Puhnaty (Michael Thomas), grandmothers, Doris Marie Zalopany , Betty Robison. He is also survived by his uncles, aunts, cousins, other family and many friends. Visitation will be held at Luke 4:18 Fellowship, 2664 Sollie Rd. on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A celebration of Stephen’s life will be held at 12:00 noon at the church. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
