OBITUARY

Steven Ryan Damrich Sr.

May 12, 1954October 31, 2019

Steven Ryan Damrich, Sr., 65, lifelong resident of Mobile, died Thursday, October 31, 2019 at his home. He was the son of John Joseph Damrich, III and Norma Jean Brown Damrich. He is preceded by his parents and brother, John Joseph Damrich, IV. Steve was a graduate of Murphy High School and attended the University of Alabama and South Alabama. He operated a successful marine and industrial coating company for over 40 years. He was a member of a mystic society and enjoyed spending time on the water, fishing, hunting and golfing.

Mr. Damrich is survived by the mother of his children, Shannon Damrich Stacey and sons, Steven Ryan Damrich, Jr. (Mandy) and Joseph Davis Damrich (Margaret). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kingsley Rose Damrich and Berkley Britt Damrich; siblings, Norma Patricia Damrich Uremovich (Michael), Michael Edward Damrich, Sr. (Suzanne), David Brown Damrich (Allison), Debra Damrich Sullivan (Steve) and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with rosary at 6:00. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ignatius Church on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held on Thursday in the Marion Center from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
