Mr. Steven Ross Florence, age 59. A native of Daytona Beach, Florida and a resident of Mobile, Alabama died on Friday, February 26, 2010. Mr. Florence served in the U.S. Marine Corps, was a Vietnam Veteran and worked as a registered nurse. He was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Florence. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Vicki Worthy Florence; children, Ross Wesley Florence and Tom Evans Florence. Mother, Nancy (Robert) Rutledge; sister, Diane (Lewis) Surratt; brothers, David (Christy) Florence, Peter (Sally) Florence, Michael Rutledge and Eric Rutledge. Aunt, Carol (Don) Hart, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 11:00 AM from St. Dominic Catholic Church.
