Susan Ruth Koffler, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 at her home. She was born August 21, 1952 in Anniston, Alabama. She is preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine Koffler and sister, Joanne Russell.
Susan was a graduate of Murphy High School and Birmingham Southern College. She received her post graduate education at the University of South Alabama. She was very active in the local theater community for several years and taught special education at Augusta Evans School for more than twenty years.
She is survived by her father, Dr. Irving Koffler and brother, Dr. Warren Koffler (Kaye). She is also survived by her nieces, Lauren Denton (Matt), Alyssa Russell, nephew, Jake Koffler (Leigh), great-nieces, Kate and Sela Denton, Ellie Koffler, great-nephew, Pearce Koffler, cousins and many close friends.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations in Susan's memory may be given to Augusta Evans School.
