Susan Berdeaux Manley, 81, born in Miami, Florida to parents, John Berdeaux, Jr. and Dorothy Brown Salemi, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on August 02, 2026. She lived most of her adult life in Mobile, Alabama. She loved the Lord, her family, West Mobile Baptist Church family and missed her Sunday school class dearly after moving across the bay. She was a very talented woman including scrapbooking, diamond art, or just about anything she put her hands on. She always put others before herself.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Larry“ Manley of 38 years; her son, Robert Shane Manley; parents, John Berdeaux, Jr. and Dorothy Brown Berdeaux; and one brother, Tom Berdeaux who welcomed her into her heavenly home.
Forever memorials of Susan will be shared by her daughter, Denise Nicole Thomas (Harold); one brother, Wayne Berdeaux; one sister in law, Darlene Berdeaux and one cousin, who was like a sister to her, Pattie Brandes and a host of other relatives and friends. A Public visitation will be held, Wednesday August 5, 2026, at Radney Funeral Home (3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama) from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Bogueloosa Valley Cemetery (Butler, Alabama) at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donation be made to the West Mobile Baptist Church 7501 Airport Blvd. Mobile, Alabama 36608
