Tammy Lynn Johnson age 66, passed away in her home June 17, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. Tammy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was the heart of her family — a gentle soul whose love could be felt in every warm meal, every cup of coffee shared, and every flower she lovingly planted or admired.
She devoted her life to the people she loved most. Her husband was her greatest companion, and together they built a life rooted in love, laughter, faith, and family traditions that will live on for generations. She found her greatest joy in caring for her family, keeping everyone fed, comforted, and welcomed no matter the time of day. Her kitchen was more than a place to cook — it was where memories were made, stories were shared, and no one ever left hungry.
In her younger days she enjoyed cutting mullet with gravel and beach camping trips with family and friends.
She had a special love for flowers and enjoyed watching hummingbirds. She never started a morning without a fresh cup of coffee in hand. Those simple moments brought her happiness, and she shared that warmth with everyone around her.
She was the kind of woman who always showed up. Her love was steady, comforting, and unconditional. To know her was to know kindness, warmth, and the feeling of home.
Though she will be deeply missed, her love will forever remain in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her. Her memory will live on in family recipes, blooming flowers, the soft hum of hummingbird wings, morning coffee, and the countless lives she touched with her caring spirit.
She leaves behind a family who adored her and will carry her love with them always.
Tammy was preceded in death by her two children, Bradley and Candace and her parents Maurice “Cooter” and Gwen Landry.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Marvin “Marty” Johnson, sister Pam (John) Zirlott, Daughter Tessa (Davy) Moody, Son Marty “Bubba” (Kristie) 9 grandchildren Jesse (Tori), Rena (Ryan), Mimi, Dj, Courtney, Willa, Bubba JR, Kassidy (Steven), Savana (Dillon) 12 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many more that called her “Mom” or “Granny”.
