Terry Lynn Hinton

Terry Lynn Hinton, age 60, of Mobile, AL went Home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 30, 2021. He was born August 28, 1961 in Mobile, AL to Willard Wilson Hinton and Mary Ella (Breland) Hinton. Terry graduated from Shaw High School, Class of 1979. He worked as an Electrical Designer for over 40 years. He was a devoted and loving Husband and Father who loved his family deeply. Terry loved Jesus, adored his girls, and was gifted to be able make, fix, or do anything. He could make you laugh so hard, even if you didn’t know what he was laughing at. He was always looking for ways to help. He loved Gospel music and sang so beautifully. He had an eye for finding the best antiques and spotting a yard sale from a mile away. He loved fishing and being on the lake.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Karla Hinton; two beautiful daughters, Ashlyn Hinton and Kristen Hinton; one brother, Donald Hinton (Glenda); four sisters, La Juanna Kotis (Jim), Elise Anderson (Gene), Jeanette Kidd (Harold), Jeanelle Lewis (Allen); Niece, Wendy Butler (Gerald); Nephew, Kevin Kidd (Rachael).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard Wilson Hinton and Mary Ella Hinton.

Funeral Services will be held at Wilmer Baptist Church on Tuesday, September 7th at 2:00 and Visitation will be: Family 12:00 to 1:00, Friends 1:00 to 2:00. Pastor Terry Glasscock will be officiating. Burial will follow at Wilmer Cemetery.
