Thomas was born in Chickasaw, Alabama. He is a graduate of Vigor High School.
He worked in the construction industry as both a mechanic and salesman. He served in the Navy for four years during the Vietnam War.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents Ernest Adams and Oma Launa Adams and his brother, Ernest Adams, Jr.
He is survived by his wife Sherry Adams, his faithful dog, Buddy;
his sister, Jean (Jim) Fowler; foster sister, Linda Underwood; nephews, Dean (Robin) Adams, Zack (Christine) Easley, many great nephews and nieces, his brother-in-law Mike (Becky) Weeks, step sister in law, Debbie Dennis, his best friend, Tim Demings and all our wonderful neighbors.
A visitation for Thomas will be held October 15, 2026 at Radney Funeral Home at 5:00 pm at 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama 36606. A Memorial Service would follow at 6:00 pm
