Thomas Nelson Britt - an 84 year-old native of Pickens County, Alabama, longtime resident of Mobile, and a current resident of Scottsburg, Virgnia passed away November 2, 2010. He was retired from International Paper Company. Mr. Britt was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Lillian Britt. He is survived by three children, Steve Britt (Brenda), Sandy bonner (Wayne), and Donald Britt (Dean); step-children, Lawrence Hopkins (Trudy), Rose Grant, Mike Hopkins (Nancy), and Patricia Eiland; eight grandchildren, Todd, Terry, Tori, Donald, Sissy, Mandy, Heather, and Faith; and numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Saturday, November 6, 2010, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the service hour.
