Thomas Wesley Diamond

Thomas Wesley Diamond, age 83, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018. Wes was born September 6, 1934, in Greenville, Alabama to Ferrell Mae Colley Diamond and Walter Allen Diamond.

Wes is survived by his wife of 59 years, Delmar Ruth Strong Diamond; two daughters, Katie (J.R.) Lucas and Sandie Nichols; two brothers, Paul (Susie) Diamond and Bill Diamond; a sister Martha Ellen Diamond; six grandchildren, Kristen (Brett) Coble, Emily (Trae) Vance, Corey Lucas, Ethan Nichols, Madeline Nichols, and Mackenzie Nichols; two great-grandchildren, Carter Coble and Cameron Coble; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Wes was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Allen Diamond and Ferrell Mae Colley Diamond; and two brothers, Allen Diamond and Mack Diamond.

A visitation for Wes will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Central Presbyterian Church, 1260 Dauphin St, Mobile, Alabama 36604. A funeral service will occur Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the church. A private family interment will follow.
