Thomas Meredith Hancock

Mr. Thomas Meredith Hancock - a native of Montgomery, Alabama and a resident of Semmes, Alabama died Saturday, July 21, 2012 in a local hospital. Mr. Meredith was a member of Springhill Avenue Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin T. Hancock and Sophye Meredith Hancock; one son, John Thomas Hancock; and one sister, Sophye Yvonne Renard. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Hancock; three children Kenneth Michael (Stephanie) Hancock, Kimberly Marie Hancock (Darren) Bonin and Kris Ann Hancock (Bobby) Redferin; two brothers, Ron Hancock and John E. Hancock; one sister, Maryanne Hancock; and six grandchildren, A.J., Taylor, Karson, Kyle, Sophye, and Kenzi. Visitation will be from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Springhill Avenue Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama with a memorial service following at 7 P.M. There will also be a visitation from 1:30 P.M. until 3:30 P.M. on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Leak Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Montgomery, Alabama followed by graveside services and interment at 3:30 P.M. in Greenwood Serenity Cemetery in Montgomery, Alabama.
