

Thomas Groom Pollman Sr, age 73, a veteran of the United States Air Force, a lifetime resident of Mobile Alabama, and beloved husband of the late Janet Bru Pollman, passed away Monday, January 6th 2025. He was born in Mobile Alabama on May 28th, 1951, and graduated from Murphy High School in 1969. Tommy served in the USAF Supply Squadron at Eglin Air Force Base, and was honorably discharged as a sergeant in 1974. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, and a Master’s of Science in Counseling from the University of South Alabama. Tommy worked for Teledyne Continental Motors for over 45 years, and retired as a Master Scheduler. He was a longtime member of Little Flower Catholic Church. In life, Tommy was the embodiment of selflessness and patience, with a moral compass rivaled by few. He dedicated his life to serving others, especially his wife and children. His family and his grandchildren were his greatest joys. Tommy is survived by his brother Steve (Linda) Pollman; brother Terry (Emily) Pollman; brother Pat (Roseanne) Pollman; brother Mike Pollman; brother Dan Pollman; son Thomas (Jeesun) Pollman Jr; and daughter Megan (Garett) Majoue; beloved grandchildren Theodore, Luna, Adelaide, and Claire. He was preceded in death by his beloved brother Ben Pollman.
