Thomas George Tansey, Sr., a longtime resident of Mobile died on Wednesday. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Tansey; former wife, Dian Tansey; two children, Tommy G. Tansey, Jr. and Brandon Lee Tansey; his father, Thomas Charles Tansey; five sisters, Sharyn Gorsky, JoAnn Cosen, Diane Clark, Terri Thomas and Carolyn Sincox; two grandchildren, Justine Thornsberry and Erin Tansey and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 2 PM. Visitation will start at 1 PM. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
