Thomas Leonard Woodson

Mr. Thomas Leonard Woodson, age 74, longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away at his home on Thursday, July 23, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ella Woodson, brothers, Johnny, Robert, Charlie, and Freddie Woodson. Mr. Woodson was retired from International Paper Company after 25 years of service. He was a longtime member of New Work Church, formerly involved with the Mobile County Sheriff’s Flotilla and CB radio club. He will be remembered by his family as a patient, kind, and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Mr. Woodson is survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty Strickland Woodson, daughter, Susan Woodson Walters (Garry Drinkard), granddaughters Danielle Watkins (Matt), Madison Walters, and three great-granddaughters, Chloe, Emma and Maggie. He is survived by his sisters Margaret and Sandra, many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Graveside services will be held at Valhalla Cemetery, Sims Rd.
