SEMPLE Tillye Elizabeth Barry Semple, 55, died after a two-year courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was born January 17, 1957 in Mobile, Alabama. She was raised in Mobile, graduated from McGill-Toolen High School in 1975. She attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She graduated with a B.S. degree in elementary education. She taught in the Mobile County Public School System and St. Ignatius Catholic School. She is preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Matherne Barry, and her father, Captain James Edward Barry. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Dr. Chris Semple, her sons, Henry Semple, Jr. and William Semple, her sister, Cynthia Barry Coffman, a niece, Cullen Barry Coffman, and her brothers, Robert Barry and Timothy Barry. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Mary's Catholic Church on Friday May 11, 2012 at 11 AM. Visitation will be on Thurday evening at Radney Funeral Home from 5 until 7 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Mitchell Cancer Institute
