Vallie Rea Sudduth

She was born February 27, 1930, in Inverness, Mississippi to John and Connie Anderson. Vallie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed attending church services and activities, she participated diligently on the church prayer team. She loved animals, baking, reading and talking.

Vallie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward; four sisters; liz, Dot, Jeanie, Irene; two brothers; Sonny and Jerry and her son-in-law, Don Rigney.

Vallie is survived by her three daughters, Theresa Hummel, Kay Rigney (Don), and Pam Breedlove (Greg); her grandchildren; Valerie McAnally, Tony Hummel, Kelli Rigney-Wolfe, Tracie Hummel, Terri Stanley Nolfe, and Jake Breedlove; great grandchildren; Sabrina, Hillary, Jeremiah, Christian, Grace, Anna, Olivia, Alli and Garrett; other relatives and friends. The family wishes to express special appreciation to the Mobile Nursing and Rehabilitation for caring and loving the Queen Bee.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 17, 2023, at Pine Crest Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Jenkins officiation. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to the charity of their choice.
