Mr. Virgil Clinton Sawyer, Sr., age 89, of Mobile, AL, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife Alline Sawyer. He is survived by his four children, Linda (Henry) Wilson, Brenda (Robert) Barber, Ann (Jay) Smith, and V.C. (Vicky) Sawyer, Jr.; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, May 21, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at Radney Funeral home, Mobile. Interment will follow at Springhill Memorial Gardens.
