Virginia "Ginny" Swinson

Virginia “Ginny” Swinson of Irvington, Alabama, passed on January 14, 2024 at the age of 96. She was a longtime member of St. Margaret’s Catholic Church in Bayou LaBatre, Alabama. She loved and lived life to the fullest.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Gladys Horn; husbands, Sam Swinson, Delbert Harnish; sisters, Pat Hall and Marie Grove; and a grandson Denny Harnish.

Ginny is survived by her 5 children, Dennis Harnish and wife Jeanie, Pamela Hicks and Husband William, Melodi Turner and husband Bobby, Joseph Harnish and David Harnish and wife Cynthia; 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren, also survived by other relatives, family and friends.

Loved very much by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, Alabama.
