Wallace Lee "Red" Deas Sr., 88, of Creola, AL has passed away on January 12, 2019 surrounded by his loving children and grandchildren. Wallace was born in Coffeeville, AL on August 10, 1930 to Chester and Virena (Pugh) Deas. He is preceded in death by his beautiful bride Gloria (Sumrall) Deas, his son Anthony "Tony" Deas, and his granddaughter Shannon Leeann Deas.
He is survived by his daughter Cynthia A. Wood, his son Wallace "Bo" Deas Jr., his grandchildren Shay McInnis Matson and Tiffany Deas Banner, his great-grandchildren Carrin Matson and Bishop Banner, and countless friends and extended family who loved him very much. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin St. Mobile, AL. The family will be accepting friends at the funeral home Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wallace will be laid to rest at Jones Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery in Coffeeville, AL. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to McKemie Place in Mobile, AL.
