Walter W. Moss Jr.

Walter W. Moss, Jr. – A native and resident of Mobile, AL died Friday, August 17, 2012 in a local hospital. Mr. Moss was a retired self employed Contractor in the area for many years. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Gladys C. Moss, whom he married February 21, 1942; two daughters, Gaye H. Formanek and Virginia M. Behlen; two sisters, Helen (Leonard) Corley and Ethel (John) Grimes; one brother, Kenneth (Tonya) Moss; three grandsons, Richard P. (Shannon) Harris, Phillip (Ginny) Harris and Chase (Jane) Behlen; three granddaughters, Campbell Behlen, Hamilton Behlen and Kress Behlen; two great-grandsons, Alec and Gavin Harris; one great-granddaughter, Elizabeth G. Harris; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at 11 a.m. from Christ Church Cathedral. The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street Monday, August 20, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Christ Church Cathedral or to the Infirmary Foundation.
