Walter Edward Stone, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, died on Wednesday August 7, 2013. He proudly served his country for 35 plus years in the US Army and the Alabama Army National Guard. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Finney Stone; 3 sons, Kenneth Stone, Brian(Tammy)Stone and SSGT. Jason(Jamie)Stone, USAF; one daughter, Kayla(Guy)Wheat; 2 brothers, Bob and Bill; one sister, Alice; 9 grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Mobile on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 10 AM. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5 to 7 PM. Burial will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
