Wanda Bailey Palmer – an 84 year-old native of Monroe County, AL and resident of Mobile passed away at her residence on Monday, October 18, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Palmer enjoyed painting, needlework, pottery, square dancing, bowling, and travel. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Louis E. Palmer. Mrs. Palmer is survived by her daughters, Linda P. Fuller and Diane P. Hall (Tommy); grandchildren, Michelle Fuller, Shawn Mullinax, Brian Mullinax, Maryann Wilkins, Terry Hall, Angela Hall, and Rome Parker; great-grandchildren, Darren, Collin, Zeach, Caleb, and William; two sisters; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Saturday, October 22, 2011, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 21, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
