

Wayne Joseph Garcia - My cherished husband, Wayne Joseph Garcia, 63, of Mobile, AL, passed away suddenly September 30, 2011 in Chapala, Mexico. Wayne was born August 26, 1948, in Mobile, the youngest son of Robert Garcia and Vivian Haag Garcia. Wayne graduated from Murphy High School in 1966. In February, 1985, Wayne was hired by Wimpol Inc. as Operations Manager. In 1994 after Wimpol was acquired by Fugro, Wayne moved to Morgan City with Ocean-eering Survey. In January, 1998, Oceaneering Survey was acquired by Fugro and Wayne was welcomed back into Fugro Chance in Houston as Operations Manager in the Interna-tional Marine Department. He diligently fulfilled his duties, taking care of projects for many Houston clients with international projects until he retired in April, 2011. Wayne was happily married to Mary Veeder Garcia for 10 years. Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Mary, 2 children, Brandon Garcia and Sherri Suleski Seback, one stepson, Eric Odlin, one grandson, Joseph Seback, brother, Rodney Garcia, sister Sandra Garcia Mitchell, and many others too numerous to mention by name. Wayne will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grand-father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. Wayne's hobbies were Ala--bama football, golf, judging chili cookoffs, boiling craw-fish, and enjoying a fine cigar with brandy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a service on Saturday, October 8, 2011 2PM, at Mobile Mem-orial Gardens Chapel, 6040 Three Notch Road,Mobile, Alabama. Interment to follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 6100 Three Notch Road, Mobile. In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude donations be made in Mr. Garcia's name to the United Way. We'll always love you Mr. Wayne.
