He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Emila "Ami" Boles. He is survived by his daughter, Helen Mann of Mobile; son William W. Boles of Broomfield, Colorado; grandson Kenneth W. (Ashley) Nichols of Mobile; granddaughter Kristin A. Boles of Boulder, Colorado and great-granddaughter Elizabeth Ann (Libby) Nichols.
After graduating from the University of New Hampshire, Mr. Boles went to work as labor relations manager for Curtiss-Wright Corporation in Fairfield, New Jersey, After retiring in 1979, Mr. Boles split his time, spending winters in Mobile and summers in Denmark, Maine, until 2009 when he became a full-time resident of Mobile.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 2:00 at Pine Crest West Cemetery, 1599 Snow Road, Mobile, AL 36695.
