Willa Grace Bodiford Feeney Harris

Mrs. Willa Grace Bodiford Feeney Harris passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. She is preceded in death by her son Timothy Ryan Feeney, husbands, William Michael Feeney, Sr. and Robert Tunstall Harris. Mr. Harris was a wonderful companion and stepfather for 27 years. Grace worked for the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce for 30 years and for over 20 years with the American Red Cross in Disaster Services. Prior to Grace’s death she expressed her gratitude for the constant love and care her children provided through the years. She expressed that they were not only her children but friends and were always happy together. Grace gave special tribute to her son James Patrick Feeney whose constant care and protection have gone on since he was 16 years old. Her parting message to her family was “Always keep in mind God takes care of those who leave the choice to Him”. Mrs. Harris is survived by her children, William Michael Feeney, Jr. (Jeanette), Myra Elizabeth Dodson (Jay), James Patrick Feeney, brother, James L. Bodiford, Jr. (Jeanne) and sister, Clotene Bodiford Steel. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Matthew Feeney, Christopher Feeney, Timothy Feeney, Rebecca Purinton, Lura Huddleston, Michael Feeney, Ryan Feeney, Kristin Phillips, Jaymie Gregg, Patricia Feeney, 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other family. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home. Chapel Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
