William Lewis Brainerd Sr.

William Lewis Brainerd Sr., age 76, born to the late Warren Brainerd and Stella Martian Brainerd on April 12, 1950, passed away on May 28th, 2026 in Mobile, Alabama . He is preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Brainerd.

He is survived by his son, Billy (Cindy), his daughter, Lisa (Greg); two brothers, Jim (Sue) and Tom; one sister, Lynn (Robert); five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces and nephews; best friends, Jacque Karr and Wanda Funderburk Delhomme and one caregiver, Tracy Brooks, also, survived by other relatives, family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606, on June 3, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens, Mobile, Alabama.
