William Albert Dixon

Mr. William “Bill” Albert Dixon, age 79. A native of Columbus, Ohio, former resident of Dallas County, Alabama and a current resident of Mobile, Alabama died on Tuesday, December 28, 2010. He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, member of the Alabama Farm Bureau, Past President of Alabama Soybean Association, member of the American Soybean Association, very active in Prison Ministry and Past Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents, William J. & Victoria Dixon and brother, Joseph Dixon. He is survived by his wife, Myra Englehart Dixon; children, Babette (Murray) Authement, William A. (Vivian) Dixon, IV, Thomas E. Dixon; grandchildren, William R. Dixon, Grant A. Dixon, Bailey A. Dixon, Drew Authement, Lauren Authement and seven sisters and one brother. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 1:00 PM from Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
