He was born to William Allen Garrett and Mattie Lou Wright Garrett on April 21, 1943.
William worked for the Alabama State Highway Department for over 15 years as a Highway Engineer.
He is survived by his daughters: Cheryl Rhodes, her husband Harvey Rhodes and Melanie Hehman, her husband Scott Hehman; siblings: Tommy Joey Garrett and Nancy Mariah Garrett; and seven grandchildren.
William is preceded in death by his father: William Allen Garrett, mother: Mattie Lou Wright Garrett and a brother: Donald Allen Garrett.
A graveside funeral service will take place on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Springhill Memorial Gardens, 626 Pierce Road, Mobile, Alabama.
