Mr. William “Bill” Tillman Ivey, Sr., age 86, longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 7, 2018. Mr. Ivey is preceded in death by his parents, Wesley T. and Nellie Gertrude G. Ivey, sons, William T. Ivey, Jr. and Frank T. Peralta, and sister, Virginia Lanell Ivey Smith. Mr. Ivey served his country honorably in the United States Army attached to the 82nd Airborne Division. He spent his life serving his country, government and community in law enforcement. He began his career as a deputy sheriff with the Marion County, Florida Sheriff’s Department and as an investigator with the State of Florida. Bill retired after 22 years of service as an ATF Federal Agent Pilot. He served with dedication, honor and integrity. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Scarborough Ivey and sons, Robert Peralta (Jill) and Jack Peralta (Robin). He is also survived by his four grandchildren; William J.Peralta, Benjamin L. Peralta, Megan L. Peralta and Candace Conner. He will also be greatly missed by his loving companion “Millie”.
